THE BEST TIME TO SOW IS NOW!
YES YOU!
SOWING AND
REAPING!
Here is a
word for you from the Word.
Galatians 6:7
“Do not be deceived: God
cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
There’s a warning against deceiving ourselves, imagining
that we can sow one thing in life and reap something
different, imagining that we can get away with things that
God won’t see, that we won’t be caught up with the
consequences of our actions. The Bible warns us this isn’t
so. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
We know this is true in the natural realm. We know that if
we plant an orange seed an apple will never grow. We know
that if we sow maize, barley will never grow. What we sow is
what’s going to come up out of it. So many, however, that
see this in the natural don’t realize it’s equally true in
the spiritual.
God has made the whole universe with the same principle -
that what we sow we reap. If we sow unkindness, we’ll reap
unkindness. If we sow selfishness, we’ll reap selfishness.
If we sow bitter words, we’ll reap bitter words. But if we
sow peace, we’ll reap peace. If we sow love, we’ll reap
love. If we sow un-forgiveness, we’ll reap it this time,
even from God.
Matthew 6:14-16
14For if ye forgive men
their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive
you:
15But if ye forgive not
men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive
your trespasses.
However, If we sow joy, we’ll reap joy. If we sow
appreciations, we’ll reap appreciations. If we sow prayers,
we’ll reap prayers. If we sow love, we’ll reap love. Loving
is giving. Give and you shall receive. When you give, give
unto the Lord and give in Love. Many of us have been taught
to give. And we give like a debt we owe. But the Scriptures
want us to give as a seed we sow with the expectation of a
bumper harvest from the Lord.
Luke 6:38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure,
pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall
men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye
mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Proverbs 19:17He that hath pity
upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given
will He pay him again.
Are you dissatisfied with your
life? Are you dissatisfied with the way things are? Remember
that what you are reaping is the result of what you have
sown. If you want to reap differently, you’ll have to begin
to sow differently. God is not mocked. A man reaps what he
sows. In this New Year of New Things, start sowing new
things towards your New Harvests!
